We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
Parents, carers and grandparents are invited to assist the school in one or more of the following ways:
- Assisting in classrooms working with students – reading to and with them, small group work or individual assistance.
- Assisting in classrooms helping teachers – sharpening pencils, laminating, preparing resources.
- Assisting at school events – excursions, sports days, coaching, fundraising events, social events.
- Committee membership – Fundraising/Social, Curriculum.
